- 25th January - Honen Shonin’s Memorial Day
- 15th February - Nehan-e Meeting - Festival of Gautama Buddha’s Nirvana.
- 22nd February - Anniversary of the Death of Prince Shotoku (574-622).
- 3rd March - Tenjin Bosatsu (Vasubandhu) Memorial
- 27th March - Zendo Daishi (Shan Tao) Memorial, also Rikyukaishu-ye (Anniversary of founding of Jodo Shinshu)
- 16th - 19th April - Eitaikyo (Thanksgiving to ancestors who helped to lead us to the Buddha-dharma)
- 27th April - Doshaku Zenji Memorial
- 21st May - Gotan-ye (Birthday of Shinran Shonin)
- 10th June - Genshin Kasho Memorial
- 15th June - Memorial for Eshinni-sama (Shinran’s wife)
- 7th July - Donran Kasho Memorial
- 14th August - O-Bon - General thanksgiving to ancestors and the deceased
- 18th October - Ryuju Bosatsu Memorial (Nagarjuna)
- October - Otorikoshi - Hoonko ceremonies at Temple Branches
- November or January - Hoonko (Shinran Shonin’s memorial) at Head Temples
- 31st of December (Midnight) - Joyanokane Ceremony called (Literally, the Temple Bell to Remove the Darkness of Night). Two temple bells ring out 108 times, each answering the other, around the beginning of New Year.
- 1st January - Shusho-e: Assembly to Celebrate New Year
